WHY ARE YOUR PERSONAL DATA PROCESSED AND WHAT IS THE CONDITION THAT MAKES THE PROCESSING LAWFUL?

The processing of personal data is carried out to process requests for information on the services offered by Gi Group or by the companies of the Gi Group ("Group"). In particular, if the request for information concerns services offered by other Group companies, Gi Group may find it by indicating the contact details or may forward it directly to the company concerned for the purpose of a suitable and timely reply by the same.

The processing is necessary for the execution of a contract of which the interested party is a party or for the execution of pre-contractual measures adopted at the request of the same.

HOW LONG DO WE KEEP YOUR PERSONAL DATA?

The data will be processed for the time necessary to process requests for information.

Once the retention terms indicated above have elapsed, personal data will be destroyed, deleted or made anonymous, compatibly with the technical cancellation and backup procedures.

COMPULSORY PROVISION OF PERSONAL DATA

The provision of personal data highlighted with an asterisk in the data collection form is mandatory: the refusal to provide such personal data does not allow Gi Group to process requests for information.

RECIPIENTS OF THE DATA

Personal data may be processed exclusively by employees of the company functions authorized to process as they are appointed to pursue the aforementioned purposes who have been expressly authorized to process and who have received adequate operating instructions.

Personal data may be disclosed to the following subjects or categories of subjects operating as independent Data Controllers:

  • Group companies in Switzerland or abroad, even outside the European Economic Area, if the request for information concerns services offered by other Group companies.

Personal data may also be processed, on behalf of the Company, by persons designated as Data Processors. These subjects are included in the following categories:

  • Site management and maintenance services;
  • Customer database management and maintenance services;
  • Archiving services;
  • Communications mailing services;

The data may be transferred to companies that are not based in Switzerland or in a state belonging to the European Economic Area (EEA), i.e. in countries that therefore do not enjoy the same standardized level of protection within the EEA. For this reason, Gi Group has foreseen suitable measures to ensure that companies that are not based in Switzerland or the EEA and which process your personal data provide adequate protection for this processing.

RIGHTS OF THE INTERESTED PARTY

You can request access to the data concerning you, their rectification or their cancellation, as well as the limitation of the processing, the opposition to the processing and the portability of the data by contacting the Data Controller by ordinary mail or by sending an e- mail to: ch.privacy@gigroup.com.

You can lodge a complaint with the competent supervisory authority, as well as exercise the other rights recognized by the applicable regulations.
